Januray - Especial Event : New Year
Theme: Our theme for this month will be ‘Bears’. There is something so naturally endearing about bears that you can’t help but be captivated by the theme. I am sure this theme will raise lots of ‘ahhhs’ from the children. I will also hope to cover the seven areas of learning
February : Chinese New Year, Pancake day and Valentine's Day March : Mother’s day.
Theme: Our theme for February and March will be ‘Toys’. Small world toys are ideal for helping the children to learn more about the wider world around them. I hope to cover the seven areas of learning in a fun and exciting way that the children will enjoy.
April - Easter Sunday May – Special event: May Day, Book Day and Space Day.
Theme: For these two months, our theme will be ‘Rain and Shine’. These topics will hopefully give a welcome taste of the spring weather! From sunny day stories to creating your own rainbow, there should be something for all the children to be very excited about. I also hope to continue covering the seven areas of learning for the children.
June - Especial Event: Father’s day.
Theme: Our theme for this month will be Cooking and Food Activities. This is great topic that the children will enjoy. They will cook and bake different recipes and taste new flavours. Whilst doing this activity I am hoping to teach children some mathematical concepts and basic science.
July
Theme: Our theme this month will be Nature and The Outdoors. All children have different preferences for how they will spend their time outdoors. However, this theme will give the children a great opportunity to explore nature. They will also be able to spend time playing on their scooters and cycling. As always, I hope to cover the seven areas of learning in a fun and interesting ways for the children.
August
Outdoor Fun !
September – Special Event: Rosh Hashanah, Roald Dahl Day, and Horatio Nelson birthday.
Theme: I am delighted to be bringing the theme ‘Homes’ to the children. I will have indoors, and outdoors activities and games that will excite the children. My aim is to encourage children to make independent choices and to think about it safety.
October - Especial Event: Halloween
Theme: This month’s theme is ‘Our Clothes’ which provides lots of starting points for learning. From dressing skills to creating multicoloured clothes. I hope that the children will find lots of inspiration with this theme.
November - Especial Event: Bonfire Night, Diwali
Theme: This month we will have magical activities ideas based on ‘Traditional Stories’, from well-loved favourites such as Rumpelstiltskin, The Ugly Duckling to more unusual stories such as Anansi the Spider.
December – Especial Event: Christmas.
Theme: The theme this month is ‘Christmas’. Christmas is in the air, and I hope with this theme to provide the children some wonderful and festive activities.
